internet explorer 11 uninstall tool windows 7

IE11 seems to have affected much more than opening Facebook. When I reverted back to IE10, web pages opened much faster, https pages were no longer an issue - even files on my computer opened quicker. I found that when I loaded IE11, it would not, or would partially open https sites. I am saving your entry to help future users. Thank you Chris, I seem to get the issues that no one else has and can't even find on the internet. But Chris Hone's command prompt was what allowed me to revert back to IE 10. Of course the obvious when I unchecked IE no longer worked at all. I had installed IE 11 with my Win 7 Pro SP1 expecting more out of it. I tried the link to Microsoft that nikolaos alifragis had given and after waiting quite a while after the download (I am on satellite), it loaded but didn't do anything to correct the issue, Before and after the System Update and Readiness application I did not have IE 11 listed to be able to uninstall it but I had it showing in Windows Features. After searching the internet this post is the only one I could find that was actually helpful.
